This is a simple basic information site for people interested in cars & engines and/or making more power! Here we don't do neon's, washer jet lights, and other stick on tat from Halfords...
And,
I do not
sell anything! So all the information here is totally unbiased.
I
have been building race engines, rolling roads (automotive dynamometers)
commercially and Nitrous Oxide injection systems for many years.
As well as lots of hands on personal Drag racing with both bikes and cars.
Because of this I get asked lots of
questions about basic tuning. My younger nephews for example (all
young enthusiastic but lacking any clue!) have
been harassing me to make their first cars "faster"... But there
is really not too much you can sensibly do to a front wheel drive 1000cc
grocery getter! There is however much bullshit talked about
chips, turbo's etc.
So this info really is for them, because I am fed up with explaining why this and that gadget is a waste of money and time! And for people like them because there is no simple answer to tuning cars.!
